Talk about gratitude. I am taking a break from Into My Own and Personal Reflections to simply raise my cider glass to toast my friend Phoebe Chi MD for her work at Pendants for a Cause.

If ever there were a cause, it would be this one. Please take the time to visit, and if you can, support her work. Fellow creative to fellow creative, who just so happens to also be a Doctor fighting this virus on the front lines. Today I double down on gratitude for that.

From her Blog:

“In response to the worldwide health crisis that is affecting all of our lives right now, we at Pendants For a Cause have a special burden for the most vulnerable populations—the elderly and the chronically ill—many of whom are struggling during this time to maintain their health.

Therefore, during this time, 100% of the proceeds raised through the sale of items purchased through Pendants for a Cause’s shop will be redirected toward preparing essential care packages for high-risk patients visiting nonprofit California and Texas hospitals. Our goal is simply to help lend a hand to those who need it and to make one’s burden a little lighter.

While we are no doubt all struggling to get through this time, I ask that you consider supporting this effort if you at all have the burden or the means to.

Thank you for making a difference.

Sincerely,

Phoebe Chi, MD, MPH
